About Coach Nyamekye

Most people who find their way here are already doing meaningful work. They are functional medicine providers, coaches, herbalists, acupuncturists, yoga teachers, massage therapists, and healers building practices of their own. Especially BIPOC women who hold space for others day after day.
What they are often missing is someone — and something — designed to show up for them.
I'm Coach Nyamekye. My path as a wellness provider has been uniquely challenging and unconventional, but also purposeful and worthwhile. It began with a spiritual journey that unfolded while earning my Bachelor's degree in psychology in New Orleans, then continued to expand as I earned a Master Reiki trainer certification while completing my doctorate in psychology. My career and my life path blossomed further into merging my background in psychology with yoga teacher training, meditation, and certifications innutrition and mental health. From there, I spent more than two years studying advanced herbalism and became a Certified Clinical Herbalist and Certified Life Coach. Along the way I have worked with many entrepreneurs and supported people through starting successful businesses, all while running my own business. Then COVID and the rise of artificial intelligence shifted the way people and entrepreneurs navigate the world, and I wanted to make sure myself and others fully understood the impact of these events. So I became a Certified AI Consultant and began publishing thought leadership regarding ethics and AI in health and wellness industries.
In addition, I am currently furthering my studies in Traditional Chinese Medicine. I built Light Life Works because I lived the exhaustion of giving everything to others while my own vitality, clarity, and sense of purpose quietly dimmed. I know what it feels like when your work is thriving and you are not.
This practice exists to change that. Through plant wisdom, somatic interventions, life coaching, and strategic business support, I help wellness professionals and entrepreneurs build what I call Whole-Person Wealth — where your profession, your purpose, your body, and your spiritual development are finally moving in the same direction to cultivate a Light Life.

You complete a wellness and medication intake. Then you meet with Coach Nyamekye, a Certified Clinical Herbalist, and receive written recommendations. Formulas are filled by the apothecary of your choice, and you pay the apothecary directly.How do I get started?
